Australian Warlord has become the top ranked Australian team, passing Help in the team rankings, and also with the first competitive race by Carl Wilson, passing Team Chili, who returned to help Taiwan two days prior. Whilst technically AW achieved top national ranking before Wilson's first competitive race, manager Rustgold viewed it illegitimate until the team surpassed Alexander's team. With Wilson getting into the points in his first competitive race at the Crown of British Columbia despite less than ideal domestique support, the AW outfit did just that.
In other news, TTer Finn McCracken has secured the national jersey of New Zealand. Whilst the competition for the silver fern mightn't be at its peak of a few seasons ago, it's still considered a prestigious jersey to wear, and with McCracken not losing any points until next season, it seems likely he'll wear the jersey through to the season ending World Championships ITT race.
The goals for this season aren’t complete however. Along with a top 10 team ranking by the end of the season, Rustgold hopes to capture the Aussie national jersey. But of a more immediate concern is the desire to get his team enrolled for Germany Tour.

The Legend returns.
Yeah, not entirely expecting to steal the title from him but can live in hope!!
Of course Finn does have more TT races to score points in as well Coulter, including one this Sunday.
Well, it ain't over til its over. I'm hopeful that at least one of my guys has a chance of chasing down Finn's current total by the end of season... indeed, McLaren's goals for the season were 700 points and a SC at the Valparaiso, but the latter got scuppered by the bugs. Still hopeful he can get to 700 though...
Game on!
